I have a question, I fell like I'm running out of energy and time.
I have 2 weeks left to study. NCLEX on 5/14. I've almost completed Saunders 4/ed, completed 57 chap's out of 63 answering questions at back of each chapter and reading, hi-lighting all of the chapters. I've done 1,400 que's on Saunders CD-ROM 4/ed. I'm doing 120 que's per day to get to 3,000 by 5/13. I've also read & did the 145 que's in Kaplans straegy book.
I'm scoring in 50%-60% range on Kaplan and 70-80% on Saunders. After I do the Saunders chap's I don't feel that I'm retaining the info. Especially on Cardiovascular med's. It's all starting to sound the same. I feel like I need to focus but on what?
Thank You,

Hi we,
WOW! You're doing a heckuva lot more than I did to prepare. I'm not sure what you need to focus on other than basking in the knowledge that you already possess. It's impossible to know everything...you don't have to know everything. Concentrate on answering questions, understanding how they're worded, why the correct answer is correct, why the incorrect answers are incorrect, etc.
And, though I hate doling out unsolicited advice, please pay absolutely no mind to your practice test scores. I scored in the mid-50s to mid-70s on Kaplan's qbanks & question trainers and failed the first & second times I took NCLEX. Went a completely different route just answering boatloads of questions and not once taking a scored test and passed with 75.
Kaplan was completely worthless to me. Most people love it, but I hate it! You're doing just fine with your 120 questions per day, but don't psyche yourself out...it'll lead you down the wrong path. All the best!

agreed with uaefan. Sounds like you are stressing yourself out by thinking too much. Trust yourself and know that you have done pretty much everything there is to do to nail nclex (I mean literally based on your post on how you are preparing yourself). Now be confident that you have the knowledge and you deserve to pass. If this makes you feel any better, your scores are fine! I passed with similar score and there are many others who passed with similar scores.
If you feel like you dont know what do study anymore because you have studied everything and feel like you are not retaining anything, my last word of advice, REVISE!!! Revision is as much important as studying content or practicing questions. Hopefully it will help build your confidence too.
