San Jacinto Fall 2022

Hey! I'm applying for the north and central fall 2022 nursing program. Just wondering if anyone else has and if anyone knows when we figure out whether or not we got accepted?

Im also going to be applying for the fall! In the middle of getting all my documents together. I’m not excited about my rubic score, since I’m still taking a prerequisite, but going to give it a try. Do you know if the background check and drug test are needed for the application? The instructions say they will email you after the application period, but I’m not sure.

Answered my own question LOL. You need to initial that it’s completed on the application when you apply.

You have to do the drug test and background check through Castlebranch!

OK thanks! Do you know about how long they take to send the infomation to the school? I feel like I’m cutting it close to the deadline date. 
 

and when I went to the info session at central, they said it takes about a month from April 1st to hear back from them.

My stuff was approved either the same day or the next and the background check took about a week and the drug test was just two days for me.

Just to confirm, did you have to do 2 drug test and background check orders? I don’t want to have to pay the fee twice if I can avoid it. Seems like Sanjac is out for Spring break so no response from them LOL

So I have everything complete and will be submitting my application pretty soon. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your rubic score? Mines 17. If I make an A in AP 2 this semester I’ll be at a 20 next semester. I don’t have high hopes this semester  

At the info session at central, they said the lowest score accepted was an 18. Do you know what the lowest score for north was? If not, I’m probably going to attend the last info session for north.

So does dropping any classes from any school affect our rubric score?? I think I might have scored mine wrong on the application? do they check/ correct that or did I just mess it all up for myself? I turned in my application awhile ago and I’m not sure if I did it correctly now

I think it’s any drop from any score, but I don’t know 100%. I don’t know why they would only counts from Sanjac because that would give an advantage to people coming from other schools. I would have to think they double check it. I would email one of the advisors to get ahead of it.

So I went to UThealth accelerated BSN program for one semester and then withdrew from all those classes, because it was very fast paced and a lot for me at the time. I wanted to try one more time at an RN program, but now I’m not sure if those classes from UT will affect me.

Yeah I’m not a fan of the portion of the rubic.
