Rush University CRNA Program 2019

Did anyone else here apply to the Rush CRNA program for fall 2019? I figured I'd start a thread so we can discuss with one another during the application process!

I applied! Heard back a couple days ago about being selected for an interview. Have you heard back?

Yeah, I'm interviewing on Friday Sept 28! What about everyone else?

I am interviewing on September 7th!

I'm interviewing Sept 28...wish it was the 7th since I will arriving back from Dubai on the 27th! Makes me nervous! I'm afraid to ask to interview earlier as I do not want to look ungrateful lol

I also have an interview September 7th. I know a few other people interviewing as well.

I am wondering if they are interviewing everyone with minimum qualifications this year?

Completely unfounded. Mostly gossip from current students in the program! There are a few people I know personally who are interviewing as well, and from what I have heard from them all the people on their units who applied have interviews as well. It sounds like a large amount of people.

Well I think that just made me more nervous/anxious than I already was. 3 coworkers from my unit applied as well, but I haven't heard if they have an interview yet or not.

I'm also interviewing on the 7th. From what I've heard the interview isn't horrible. I've been told that it is a one on one with faculty. It has two parts; one is clinical, one is the whole why CRNA, why Rush, etc. There's also a written test (CCRN style, and math problems??), and an ACLS type scenario. Learn pressors well, they ask you to give as much detail about one drug as possible.
