Roane State Nursing Students

Also I've heard that you have to buy all kinds of supplies, coat, stethoscope, shirts, etc. at orientation. Do you know how much money we should bring with us? Thanks again

You CAN buy that stuff but it isn't mandatory. It's a fundraiser for the 2nd year students. I am not in the program. I was accepted but misunderstood what I was accepted into..I applied for the online program through RODP with Roane State being my home school. I spent $80 at orientation but I will use most of it when I start LPN school next year...I loved the tshirts and still wear them even though I'm not a RSCC student.

Oh wow! That's a lot sooner :) so you will be starting the LPN program or the LPN to RN mobility program? Sorry I got confused.

I am starting an LPN program on Thursday, I will graduate in December and apply for the LPN-RN program that starts in May 2011 at Chattanooga State. So basically, if I get into the LPN-RN program, I will graduate with my ADN at the same time as if I started the RN program next fall...but I will be able to work as an LPN while finishing my RN.

Oh okay. I get it now. That's really smart. I went to Cleveland State for 2 years and checked in Chatt State before we moved to Knoxville. I really liked the school! Good Luck, let me know how your first day of school goes :)
