RN Transfer Student Sinclair Community College

Can any current or previous SCC students help me? I'm going to be a transfer student to Sinclair nursing program in August and am working on a transfer packet to complete.

I have questions about the progression of the program and what skills and topics are taught at what time. I'm told that I will be able to transfer into the 3rd semester from the courses I have already taken.

The info I received lists all skills that I will need to be evaluated on. In the courses I've taken, I've not yet learned two of the skills (IVs and trach care). During which courses are these taught at Sinclair?

From what I find, I will be taking NSG 2200 first. Are any new skills taught in this course?

I will also need to complete the 9 step care plan which is a bit different than I've done before in the way it's set up. Would anyone be willing to share a sample of their work so that I can get a better idea of what is expected?

I'm from Texas so trying to figure out how things are done in Ohio is difficult for me! I'll be moving this summer and want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks for your help!
