Not sure how this works. I am an lpn and will have my rn may 2017. While working on my bsn. I am planning after a year working in my specialized field. "Yet to chose" going to work in UK. I am a britsh citizen and will also have my American citizenship. I don't want to permanently move home. Looking to working as a travelling nurse. Has anyone been in my position. Does anyone have advice. Any info on taxes etc. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Especially what field of nursing I should chose. Kathleen
Hello. I have been an LPN since 2009. Should have my RN by 2017. While getting a years experience in my chosen field "not sure what that is yet" I will be finishing my BSN. I am British citizenship. I am not looking to move home permanently but would be interested in working as a travelling nurse. Part of time in UK and part USA. I know this is a long way off. However, any advice would be greatly appreciated. How to make it happen, how do taxes work, and where the demand is. Thankyou for any information. One can never be to prepared.
Wondering if anyone spends half their time in uk and half in usa.

NMC is a long drawn out process so suggest checking out the NMC trained overseas page on their website. You are required to have 12 months work experience as a RN before NMC will accept application Taxes I am not sure you may need to talk to someone experienced in both systems but I do believe there is an agreement between the 2 countries
