But from my own experience, I'd suggest you contact your manager and/or education department about this beforehand. In my hospital, you can find GREAT stuff online, but you are not allowed to give it out as info the the patients or families unless it is approved by the hospital's information and education departments. They have to be very careful what info is given to pt's and families by staff because it's seen as official, and they need to make sure it covers all aspects of liability and all needed info, and that it applies to the way care is provided at our facility.

this would be my advice as well. Some hospitals are very specific about what types of info are given out because that info is a reflection on the hospital and needs to be very factual and accurate adn as we all know, anyone can write anything on the net.:typing
