RN Student

Hi: I am having an issue with the following dosage calculation problem. I'm probably not seeing it and perhaps someone here may shed some light on how I might get to the answer.

Order: A nipride drip is to be infused at a rate of 10ml/hr.

Available: nipride 100mg/250ml 0.9% normal saline solution. How many micograms of nipride per kilogram per minute is to be infused if the client weighs 55kg

I am taking the dosage calculation course for the RN degree. The teacher needs a teacher! Need I say any more.

Please help.

Thanks

Abe
