RN Salaries

Hello all my fellow nurses!

I am going to be relocating to OK, most likely OKC or outlying areas. I am trying to figure out the cost of living for the area. I have read the posts regarding salary and am still a bit unclear. I have been an RN for 2 yrs and make around 24/hr w/o differential pay. Can anyone, hopefully in recruitmen, give me a fairly accurate scale? Much appreciated. Thanks.

I am new grad (May 2006), I have just moved to the area also. I have been hired at OUMC with a starting base @ 18.65/hr, plus night and weekend diffs.

I'm not sure where you're moving from, but keep in mind that even though the pay in OKC may be lower than you're used to, the cost of living is pretty low. Sorry I can't help you on the salary though.
