RN License plate

In my state we can get an auto license plate that has RN with a picture of stethoscope on it. Today I learned an Lpn in my facility has one on her car. She is not in school to obtain her her and no one in her household is an RN. I just find this strange.

Heck yeah, I am going to get my RN license plate when I become an RN.. It is an acknowledgement to myself and the world that "I did it"!!.. I don't care what other people think. I am an LPN and I wouldn't feel right putting a tag that would make others think I was a Registered Nurse on my car but when I do earn that title.. it will be displayed with pride and dignity.

Maybe the LPN displaying the tag in question doesn't own that car. Maybe it is her mother's car who is an RN.

Cope RN 420 is a non-profit Association specializing in providing medicinal cannabis services to Members who require in-home care...they dispense marijuana to home bound people in CA.

So I'm thinking that it might be appropriate in CA, then...but it's still not legal in NY...it just struck me as really funny/stupid...and to the poster who commented about the car belonging to the person who interviewed me...it wouldn't matter, as the "interview" consisted of looking up my license online and offering me the job...no thanks!!! Anyplace that is that desperate is not a place I want to be!!!
