RN-BSN

Hello everyone I have just joined allnurses. I am an RN looking to pursue my BSN. I passed my boards July 2013. I wanted to know if anyone can recommend an online program. I have seen many online, but still need some advice. Thanks.

    I have been looking also. Here are some suggestions.....(online programs)

    Western governors university

    Grand Canyon University

    Ameritech

    Ohio university

    Franklin university(located in ohio)

    University of texas-arlington

    University of louisiana-lafeyette

    Chamberlain

    University of phoenix

    And im quite sure there are many others but these are the programs i have been looking into. I have narrowed my choices down to about 2-3.

    You may want to check out our Colleges area as there's tons of threads about nursing schools, including online programs:

    Online Nursing Schools, Traditional Schools, Colleges, Universities

    My advice regarding online programs:

    * It needs to be accredited (NLNAC/CCNE)

    * It needs to be doable based on your schedule, location, resources, etc.

    * It needs to be affordable based on your financial/employment situation

    Whether a program meets the first criteria is kind of obvious. Only you can decide if a specific program fits the last two critera for you.
