Anyone else looking forward to starting with WGU on the RN to BSN in July or hoping to do so?
I'm hoping that they'll take enough of my past credits to make it worthwhile for me.

I'm currently still waiting for WGU to finish reviewing my transcripts then hopefully I will know what my options are :) I'm hoping this is a faster option than most.
Wooo...wooo... I just got my Courses eligible for transfer. 81 credits acceptable, 41 to go. The assessment seems fair and reasonable and I'm quite pleased!
Beyond core requirements I'll need to take Bio; Stats, Human Growth and Development and Sociology.
They all make sense and the only one I fear is Sadistics.
I was on the cusp and they had aimed me at a 8/1 start but will attempt to do a July 1 start. This is important because my employer has a maximum assistance per year and the year flips at December 31st. So if I need to do a 2nd semester I'll get a new round of money from my employer. Had I started Aug 1st, I'd have lost 2015 entirely as reimbursable.
I'm sooooooooooo excited............

Hoping to start July 1st as well. Not sure I'll make deadlines, as I don't have the official interview with the enrollment counselor until this Friday. Paperwork is all done, transcripts sent, just hoping there won't be hold ups as I'm on an employer timeline as well as far as reimbursement goes.
The pressure is on! To be accepted, I'm told, "and the term is filling up fast" I need to pay.
Since I'll be paying all my own with a refund at the end of the successful term and really I'm not eligible for any financial aid, it's all up front, or take a hike. The repayment plan is sort of ok, a $55 (I think) fee and then pay July/Aug/Sept/and the balance October. Not bad, not good. But get this--if I wanted to simply pay On July 1, with my credit card, I still must pay the fee. Yikes. Not impressed.
For those who will do stats if you're leery of it and not a math wiz you might want to try udacity.com, look for the introduction to statistics. It's totally free, a bit slow but very, very easy to follow. I've been doing it and understand some terms that I could not understand previously. Not even advertising--totally free.
I have received very conflicting information from WGU.
I was told that I had been accepted into the 7/1 cohort upon payment and submission of the confirmation number proving that I had done the background check. I merely asked that if I was bounced to a later start date that I would get a full refund, as were I to go to 8/1 I would lose this calendar year's benefit by my employer, but was given weasel words.†(In other words my simple request for written confirmation was ignored).
My advisor told me to go to the Bursar's office and I did so and talked to a fella there. He said exactly: If you do not start classes you will receive a full refund.†To make sure I went online to research WGU's refund policy and found his information to be untrue. Later my adviser confirmed this: The resource fee of $145 and the one time nursing fee of $350 will not be refunded.â€
Not wanting to risk losing my $495 by withdrawing even if through no fault of my own I am forced to stop the process.
What I have learned from this, in my humble opinion:
Beware. What you are told by your advisor or by the bursar's office may not be true.
It is inexcusable that someone in the bursar's office would either be so misinformed or worse, would mislead me. At best this is a place where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. At worst, not-for-profit or not, just like a new car lot, you may be misled. Frankly I do feel that I have been misled.
To all of those who continue in the 7/1 cohort I wish you the best, but sadly I will not be amongst you.
