Riverside LPN program 2016

Published

Hi I'm new to this site but I've been looking into the Riverside LPN program. I have a couple of questions if anyone can help me. The RN program says that only current students can apply.........is that correct. Also how competitive is the LPN and RN program. I'm changing my career and don't have a lot of time to waist.

You'd probably get more (and better) responses by posting this on the Pre-Nursing Student or General Nursing Student forums, even the State forum for whatever State you're in would be helpful. After all, we don't even know what Riverside you're referring to!

Good luck.

I actually applied to their lpn program not even a week ago and am waiting to hear back for an interview to be scheduled...I got an 82 on the teas and currently work as a cna for riverside part time, so if I don't hear back I will be heart broken cause I'm tired of wasting my time too :/

Hello all! I am a navy spouse with orders for Va in January. I am looking for schools to began my road to nursing. Of all school, Riverside has drawn my attention the most. With 3 kids, I really just want to start with the LPN program and work my way up. Is anyone in the LPN program? What did you study for the entrance test? How Is the process? How are the teachers and the curriculum? I know the schedule stated that it varies and just wanted an idea as to how it actually looks. Did anyone get a job at the hospital? How often does the program star? How long do I have to wait in order to enroll in the RN bridge? So many questions, I know. Any information and advice would be helpful. At this point I'm looking for schools for my children and myself along with housing... Thank you guys in advance!
