Hi Guys,
I was recently accepted into an accelerated bsn program that starts in the fall of 2019. I did take Anatomy and Physiology as prerequisites but my course was online and I didn't get as much out of it as I hoped. I know that a strong background in these courses is important as the curriculum will build off of them, so I would like to review them myself.
Does anyone have suggestions on the best books to buy to reteach myself A+P?
Thank you in advance for your help!

I'm sure you could find a cheap A&P textbook. I'd just go with whatever textbook the local community college/university uses since that's going to be cheapest for your area.
Otherwise, honestly Youtube is great for reviewing A&P. Khan Academy has a mass of videos on there, and there's a good series that does a general overview, Crash Course A&P. You can also just really search for anything and almost always find a good video on it.
Maybe see if you know someone whose also taken the class and try to get their notes?

Check with your community college. Mine has a one week A&P review course that is highly recommended before starting nursing school.

For reviewing anatomy - the anatomy coloring book. It's all of $20 or so new and a great reference. You can find a lot of good physiology videos on khan academy or on youtube (CrashCourse channel is good).
If you don't know what A&P book your ABSN program recommends - I'd go with something used so you don't spend a fortune as you will likely need to buy a text for the ABSN program.
