Return to practice

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can lend some assistance. I've been out of nursing for 10 years and really want to go back. I've got 5 years experience one in a Burn ICU and 4 in the ER. I have been working as a software developer since and really don't have the same type of job satisfaction I had as a Nurse. My kids are older and I don't really need the work from home, show up when you want kind of flexibility software developers have. Does anyone in the Northern VA area know of any back to practice programs, either through a University (GMU never returned my calls) or a hospital? Any advice, suggestions and input is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

George
