Resume

Hi everyone! I need advice, my resume is awful. I graduated in 2010 and I didn't work until 2012 due to family issue, then I worked for a year in critical care from 2012-2013. Sense then we've moved to Atlanta and I was confronted with a medical issue unexpectantly, which has now been resolved. I would like to go back to nursing, but I haven't worked in 4 years! I've applied for many jobs and haven't heard back from anyone. How can I somehow explain my absences on my resume? Should I even do that?

I really appreciate any feedback and advice.

You need to sell yourself. Make sure the absences do not appear just as absences but rather as private duty nursing (nursing yourself is still nursing) or other such things. You also can benefit from a cover letter. Focus on your positive attributes instead of trying to explain your deficits.
