Hi! I am at a loss for how to incorporate my clinical rotation experiences into my resume. I am a FNP student with a fortunate amount of diverse experiences in different subspecialties (e.g. radiology, urgent care, GI), and I am unsure of how to elaborate on them without turning my resume into an unnecessary novel. Should I include my preceptor's name? Elaborate on specific opportunities I had in each clinic (e.g. suturing, x-ray interpretation)? Is a one-page resume standard for a NP? How did you describe your student clinical experiences? Thank you so much! Help is needed! :)

Your school should be helping you with this. CVs are more common than resumes, because you can't fit everything on one page. Do not include your preceptor's name. You can also check out the career forum. They have a lot of good information there.
Thanks for the advice, annaiya! School is not currently offering resume counseling I will definitely also check out the career forum per suggestion!

I added my clinical rotations in detail under my FNP education segment. I did add preceptor names.
e.i..
Completed over 600 hrs of clinical rotations with the following preceptors in the following areas;
-Mary Smith, FNP. Cardiac care. City Hospital, Your town USA
-Under direction of Mary Smith I interviewed, examined, prescribed and counseled a diverse population including adults and geriatric patients in an outpatient cardiac specialty setting.
thanks, alicia! i have seen a PA's resume describe each of her clinical rotations in the manner you described :) i think i'll have two different copies on hand with one providing more info on the exact procedures/skills i've acquired from my rotation. thank you again!!
