California does not participate in the Pearson early results. That is why you did not see your name. You can log on to the BRN http://www.rn.ca.gov and look under license verification. Put in your last name and see if you have a license yet. Other than that you will need to wait for notification from the BRN. Don't feel bad as I am in the same boat.

I know exactly how you feel, I live in CA as well. I took my test on June 10, thinking that my college would have sent my transcripts to the BRN by then. The college just finally sent them last Thursday. The board told me that from the time it takes to send the transcripts from the college and the time they actually open and process them is two weeks! I'm going insane from waiting so long.
The BRN will not release your results or issue a license if you passed until your file is complete. So I have been waiting for almost three weeks now. This is awful, I hate California.
Thanks for your help guys...I'm taking my boards tomorrow I haven't been able to sleep for the past few nights...all sorts of nclex test questions flotting in my head. I just want to get it over with.

Belle, I somewhat have the same problem! Sat for the NCLEX 4 days ago. After not seeing my name pop up in the online verification system, i panicked and called up BRN. Apparently, my FINGERPRINT CARDS have not been cleared yet!!! I didn't know this could even happen. I thought getting your "eligibility to test" means you've completed your files -- transcripts & fingerprints included. The funny thing is I sent those fingerprints more than 3 months ago! And they told me it could take another 2-3 months for the DOJ to clear it. I'm going crazy here!
Will they not at least send us a letter stating whether or not we passed the exam? Are we supposed to wait in the dark for this long? Anyway, kindly update us on your progress. Let's hope for good news soon :)

Here in North Caroling if your background check isn't finished you get a letter with your results. I tested on a Tuesday and had my letter on Saturday.

Hello!!!:)
I know exactly how you feel coz I waited for 5 weeks before I called them and they told me my file is not yet complete. And I thought that if I had my eligibility to test and ATT everything is okay. But they said that until your file is complete no results will ever be mailed. I think this is only in California. Just call the Board at 916-322-3350 and ask how your file is.
Anyways, Goodluck and I'm sure you'll do just fine.
congratulations angelesuniversity!!! let's hope we all end up with a happy ending like you. i'm still waiting for my fingerprints to get cleared. i periodically check with BON. if nothing happens in a week or so, i'll probably do a live scan to clear things out once and for all.
