Research on closed ET suction?

Doing a research project on the frequency of changing closed line ET suction catheters relating to incidence of infection. I can't find any research on the subject, but nurses in my hospital say it has been done. Anyone know where I might find this study?

May I suggest you try AACN (American Association of Critiacl Care Nurses) because I think I read something about this in Critical Care nurse or Heart and Lung a few years ago. Another suggestion is that you might try checking with your respiratory therapists in your hospital or their professional association because that would probably be a ggod place to start.
