they rescheduled my interview

I had an interview scheduled Wednesday. It was to be after I worked a night shift. I really wanted this job and this was the only day she said she could interview. So I had to give away my night shift since there was nobody to trade with.

They now left a message asking to do it Friday. This makes me angry. Now I am out $350.

I almost don't even want to go to the interview.

1. Call whoever does scheduling in your facility (like House Sup) to see if you can pull a shift on some other unit.

2. When you respond to the date/time for the next interview, asked why was it postponed, because you missed pay.

3. If you consider the other position, consider #1 and #2 before deciding. Could this be the way they work all the time? Was it due to someone being sick, etc?

No I can't do a shift on another unit. We are a very small facility with 1 RN on at a time.

It was due to "her being double booked. They cant squeeze me in".
