? about repeating classes at MCC

I know that they only look at the last 12 class hours for consideration into the program, but how do they deal with repeating a class? What if it was before the last 12?

At Baker any repeat at all causes you to loose the point you get for not doing so, just wondering how MCC handles it.

Thanks!

All of my twelve credits were transfers from when I was in school in Arizona 10 to 12 years ago. They actually told me what I needed to repeat, (A&P...took it too long ago) which I did this semester, but if I had needed it to count toward the twelve, it wouldn't have counted against me.

Hope that helps to answer your question. :)

MCC just looks at the last 12 credits you received a grade for, I don't think it matters if it was a repeat class, and they don't penalize you for having repeated a class (that I know of). I'd suggest calling one of the counselors to make sure. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies, I am going to see them at some point. I did not think that they penalized like Baker does.
