Repeatability of major prep courses

I was informed by my community college councilor that because I have repeated Microbiology twice, and need to a third and final time to pass, that many universities in California will not accept me into their nursing program.

She gave me

She told me to look into private schools and that Arizona and Nevada had some universities that allow you to repeat a course more than once.

I was hoping to post this and see if anyone had any other schools in mind that accept more than one repetition of major prep courses.
