Remedial courses

I applied for the CES and after a long time it arrived at the Florida BON and my copy of the report on the part for the nursing education statedcomparable to to BSN program in us, however the people at the BON then reviewed it and told me that i had not completed enough hours for medsurg theory and that my clinical hours are not enough, then they went on to tell me that they are going to be sending me remedial courses that i can take and then be able to take the NCLEX, can anyone tell me what the remedial courses entail, do i have to look for a school to complete them. One other thing is that i have a CGFNS certificate, will it be easier for me if i only moved to a state the certificate instead of a CES report. Please help me i am confused...... :crying2:

You can try submitting to California. They do their own credentials verification and do not require CES. They also have different required hours.

You can see what they say, otherwise you will need to make up the hours that Florida requires.

If CGFNS granted you a Certificate, then you should be okay in most other states. Remember that each state is governned by their own Board of Nursing and they can set what ever requirements that they wish, which has nothing to do with CGFNS. :)
