refresher

Hi

I graduated my nursing degree in Tanzania 2000 never worked anywhere but am now in Dallas Tx, I just wanna know before I take the U.S. License Examination and look for a job where or what kind of refresher course do I need to take and where can I take it? cause its been 6 yrs and I never practiced anywhere.:balloons:

OMG.........get your books from school out and start studying. Take a NCLEX review if you can. Get some NCLEX books from the bookstore and just start doing questions. Get into a facility in whatever patient care capacity you can and act like a sponge and absorb all that you can. Good luck and happy nursing.

You might try a local junior college. Most of them offer some sort of nursing refresher, and their classes are quite comprehensive. I recently took one, and found it very informative. Good luck.:idea:
