I have been in healthcare for many years. I have been inolved in many tough experiences and joyous occasions. Lately, I have been reflecting on the patients i remember the most who touched me in some spiritual way.
The Opera Singer'
The Multi-Millionaire
The Astronaut
The mother of 3 kids with stage 4 cervical ca
The young man who committed suicide
The LVN who was a patient from H-E-L-L
In some ways we all get to experience the best healing on earth. Dispite our hectic work environments and the paradigm shifts in healthcare, humanity at its core will always need someone to listen to them and perhaps hold there hands

bingo.
put aside gender, race, social status and all other attributes that define us, we are all vulnerable.
stripped of our facades, we, universally, need and respond to human touch when feeling defenseless and susceptible.
it is our capacity to recognize and react, that ultimately bonds us as humans.
and abba, as you've stated, it certainly takes all kinds.:)
thanks for the potent reminder.
