We're wondering at work about recycling efforts on your units/job sites. Specifically, do you recycle (not reuse) things like sterile water containers? Would love to hear about your recycling efforts...

We recycle nothing. Everything goes into either a general garbage, a bio-hazard garbage, or the paper shredder for identifying data on patients. Maybe the shredded pages are recycled somehow?
The cafeteria has a bin for soda cans and bottles :)

We recycle nothing either. There are tons and tons of aluminum cans, plastic bottles...you name it..it all goes in the trash...what a waste.

The shredded paper gets recycled. Thats it. Some employees take it upon themselves to leave a container for cans and then they take them to recycle and get the refund. It kills me to see all those gingerale cans that just end up in the garbage.

Here's another one, those horrible styrofoam cups used for water. I hate styrofoam!!! We go through tons of them! Talk about bad for the environmnet.
We do recycle paper, but that's it.
