Recommended LVN to RN program in SoCal?

Hi I recently pass my NCLEX PN and looking forward to become an RN...

Can anyone recommend me what are some of the good programs out there?

Here are some since I live around these, have anything good or bad to say about the following?

-Citrus college - heard it harder to get in because based on point system??!

-ELAC - as long you got the prereq... U can sign up on the waiting list? (Heard from a friend not sure if correct)

-mt. Sac --- no idea but sometimes drive by it when I'm on the freeway....

any feedback/comments/ suggestion welcome and thanks:)

Any suggestions?? I'll try to look up online but just want first hand info

i'm in california too i would like to know too hopefully those who have knowledge in these bridge programs can give us some insight? thanks!!

There are several in the Southern CA region but it changes every semester related to budget cuts. I have about a year left of pre-req's so I haven't called but my ears/eyes are always open. Trust me, they are out there but you may have to travel a distance.

I know last time I looked, many programs still required the rn pre reqs. So at least make sure u have you general- a&p, micro, chem 1, psychology, sociology, speech 101, stats..... Those were many pre reqs I saw when looking last.i also know that for Most school,s pre reqs needs to be within 4 years... Thus why I went to lvn school to at least get started.

I hear ear mixed reviews about west coast college.... And mr. St. Marys is awesome, has a wait list, and pricey but good.

There is also a private school of nursing, I heard about yeeears ago that a friends gf went to. Somewhere near riverside or San Diego one of the 2 lol. Good luck. Start soon! The best way, otherwise we will forget everything!

(Im waiting on my scores still) :)
