Recently accepted to a CSU nursing program? What were your stats/credentials?

Hello, I applied to five CSU schools for Fall 2015 as a CC transfer student (Sac, Channel Islands, SF, LA, San Bern) and I haven't been able to find much information on acceptance rates and statistics on students who were accepted. This thread is for any pre nursing students wondering the same thing as me, if you successfully got into a CSU in the past couple years please post your "stats": your cumulative GPA, your pre-nursing GPA (the 8 core classes i.e. A&P, micro, chem etc.), your teas score (individual scores too?), your possible extra criteria like foreign language experience, a previous degree, military, work experience, volunteer experience, whatever else your school asked for etc.

I'm wondering what my chances are and I'm sure my fellow applicants are too! The universities themselves have tons of information on who and how many people are accepted but of course it's much harder to come by for special programs. Thank you very much for posting, and congratulations to you if you got in you are awesome!!!!!! :)

Here are my stats as an example, and if anyone wants to give their opinion :)

Cumulative gpa: 3.76

Pre nursing gpa: ~3.8

(currently taking microbiology)

teas: 83.3% - math 73.3%

~60 hours volunteer experience

no work experience, extra degree/certification, military, foreign language etc.

Specializes in L&D, infusion, urology.

Good luck! I started at SSU in fall 2012. At that time, most of the CSUs had about a 10% acceptance rate, and it was all based on how that school calculated everything (as I'm sure you know, it varies from school to school). My stats aren't relevant, because I am a veteran, and that exempted me from certain things (still had to meet the requirements).

Have you gone through the FAQs for each program? Usually the acceptance rates are listed there. The stats each year will vary simply based on who else is applying. If you can't find the acceptance rates, try calling the programs or e-mailing them. They're likely happy to divulge that info.
