Reapplication NCLEX in CA

Hello everyone! I need your help and advice on whoever has gone through this before. I recently took my nclex on July 23 but unfortunately did not pass. I reapplied right away and paid for my exam on Pearson right away so they can process my application so i can take my exam again. I am confident that I will pass my exam the 2nd time around. I am in CA and I have called the BRN a couple of times checking in on my application and they have been so rude to me. I know I have to wait 45 days, but I have a pending job offer September 17 but the 45 days will be up September 6 so I am cutting it close. Is there anything I can do right now to speed up the process? I heard that I can file a complaint to the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) because the BRN is under them? I have no idea what to do and I do not want to lose my job offer. Please help me or give me some advice if you have gone through this experience or know anyone that went through this experience. Thank you so much! I have been praying for a miracle, but losing hope. Please anyone reply that knows what I can do.

    The California BON is notoriously short staffed and slow. I understand that you want your license soon, but so does everyone else who has applied and is waiting.

    No one applies for a nursing license not wanting or needing to work, right?

    I think you're probably just going to have to wait your turn.

    I had to reapply 6/6/2018 and received mine on like 8/8/2018 and I even know someone who works for the BRN who was trying to help me get mine in faster.. its about a two ish month turn around. I personally talked to the lady who does the readmit/reapplies and she said she only processes the application by date received and she is very accurate with what the processing times are on the ca brn website. make sure you turn in your reapply application online.

    Thank you! I talked to the lady too I think her name was Rita? She said that they are working on the beginning of July applications right now. I asked her if she can just look at my application and said the same thing she said to you. she told me it will be a couple more weeks. I guess in the mean time I just have to keep studying because there is nothing more I can do.
