Really want to be an RN

hi guys, i was always read this forum ever since the day i started reviewing for my test, this is my first time to post and i'm so excited to share alot of stories of mine about my experiences taking nclex exam..:crying2:well, i just really want someone to vent my feelings coz i'm so sad at the same time loosing hope coz i already took the test for 2x and failed..:crying2::banghead: the first tym i took the test was last jan. and i had 75 questions, never went to review classes just studying on my own..after i've learned that i failed i really can't explain what i felt that time, i just cried on my room the whole day, i never eat, all i want to do is to be alone..:crying2: then after awhile i told my self that maybe that's not the right time for me to be an rn so i decided again to study after a month.. still i continue to study on my own with all my heart and soul but then again i failed again for the second time. i took my 2nd test last july had 130 questions..now im loosing hope and i really dont now what to do.. my friends told me that i need to go to a review center so i decided to enroll my self to kaplan and i will be starting to go to class this saturday.. i really want to be an rn, can somebody help me to pass this test for the last time??..i really appreciate your advices!!!..:wink2:

try and get the book 'linda lacharity, prioritization, delegation and priority. amd sure it will help.. and go to cbc.org for infection control

-hi tnx much for replying, i had the book of Linda lacharity and i used it before and yes it is really a big help but i think it's not enough..but I'm gonna try the one about the infection controL you are saying.. OMG, im so depressed now.. but tnx for your reply, i really apreciate it..kip posting..:wink2:

sorry about that, i mean cdc....u should make a flash card on that infection control and also try exam cram, lots of people says it helps. do u have too much anxiety? i think u shouldnt study like crazy, relax urself and have faith or believe that u can do this...when u get a question, just imagine urself being at the pt bedside, and all u should think about is what can u do to save the pt life....

:typingI just finished my QT#1 and got 59%, oh my god..that was horrible.. maybe after this review to kaplan i should get that book..for the mean time i just wanna focus on this review first coz before, i used alot of sources and books thats why i got trouble studying it, but anyways tnx for your reply here and god bless us all...

wNtbRN, make a calendar for urself, stick to it, study, pray and believe in yourself, u made it through nursing school and u going to conquer nclex. am also a GN studying to take nclex hopefully in sept. pls dont get worked up or depress, failing nclex the doesnot mean u are dump, is just the way it is, its inconvenient or not easy to fine $200.00 everytime and wait another 45 days to take it..God is on ur side.. just be optimistic and believe that YES WE CAN.

I'm so sorry to hear that you failed. I failed boards 3x and just passed last week. I also took Kaplan and failed on my third try. What helped me was first God and this site. I used Exam Cram, Linda Lacharity (a must for any NCLEX test taker), and Kaplan strategies book. My prayers are with you and please don't give up hope cause you'll be missing out your opportunity. I totally understand how you feel but the key is prayer.

-tnx all for your support.. i will take all your advices, im trying hard to pass it and pray that i can pass this test..its really so hard for me to take this test again after 2x attempts!..pls pray for me and i will continue thank you guys it really made me feel im not alone..

dont worry, u made it out of nursing school and u shall ripe ur fruit in jesus name..just have faith ok, i will be taken mine nclex hopefuly in sept..

SOME of us are just not test-takers being more verbal. Rest assured you will pass NCLEX-RN afterall you survived nursing school. Prayer changes many things:nurse:
