Really Need Some Advice

the learning center at the college gave me a website that they have based around the NLN(nursing enterance exam), the thing is over loaded with information...the math part is like basic math on up through AT LEAST algebra II. I have been using the site for a week and I am not even half way through the math part of it. The science and verbal are the same way. There is no way I will get through all of the material before the 11th. I bought the RN Pre enterance exam book and was wondering how you all prepared? Should I just concentrate my time on this book or should I keep dealing with the website?

Also, Are there any areas that I should really refresh upon? Anything

that really stuck out to you all that was on the test a lot?

Hey what is the addy to that website? there has been a lot of post lately about the NLN entrance exam. This website may help them.

Skim lightly over the stuff that you are already familiar with. Then focus more time and energy on those topics that are new to you. Don't try to be an expert on everything. Don't get boggegd down on a bunch of details. Strive to have a basic "working familiarity" with the material. Then you can rely on your general thinking abilities to use the information appropriately to help you with the actual test questions.

If you don't have good general thinking abilities, then no amount of studying informational material will help you. If that's the case, you should be focusing your intellectual work on learning how to think critically, interpret information, analyzing information, and applying information to specific situations. That's a whole different field of study. Like almost all standardized tests, the test will probably test both your general knowledge and your intellectual skills needed to use that knowledge.

its platoweb.com, I think its something the school has to set you up with.
