Hello I am currently a nurse with one year experience in med/surg. I wasn't able to find work at my dream location right out of school (currently working in the middle of nowhere, but at least it's a job). Since I've got some experience under my belt now, I figured it is now time to apply to my dream job, back in the SoCal region. I even have a specific "dream hospital" in mind- I've always wanted to give back to the community by working in an underserved area, and my dream hospital is the largest county hospital in the state. I was born and raised around there, and its where all of my friends and family are. My entire life is there!
The thing is, my fiance is currently a second year internal medicine resident at that same facility! While this obviously contributes to me wanting to come back to LA, this isn't the reason that it's my dream hospital. We met in college, so it wasn't any weird workplace romance that developed or something (in case you were wondering)
Anyways: Is this something that I should hide on completely, or should I mention it somewhere in the application. I was thinking of emailing the nurse manager my specific interest in their program, but I wasn't sure if I should include this information or not.

I don't think it's a big deal. Plenty of hospitals have employees who are either married to, or dating each other. It doesn't become a huge issue in situations where the two parties do not work in the same unit but I've personally seen married couples (nurses, physicians, etc) work on the same shift in the same unit and there has not been problems. I wouldn't mention it to the manager unless personal matters happen to be brought up in the conversation.
