random question.,,

Hi everyone,

I have a question for y'all...I am a pretty new nurse, all things considering. I have my "one year mark" coming up in June and have never done anything but peds. I was at a camp last summer and I currently do long term pediatric acute care and homecare. I am moving to florida next month and I recently got a homecare position. My passion and love is peds oncology...if anyone has advice on how I could "look better" to a pediatric floor/childrens hospital, pleeease let me know! Homecare and LTPAC is/has been a good experiance for me...I can suction trachs and know vents like the back of my hand, but I really want to be in an acute setting. I am working on getting PALS and recently took the APHON Peds. chemo/biotherapy provider course...anything else I can do?
