How will the determine pass/ fail when you run out of time and only answered about 185 questions on a nclex-rn exam or does that automaticaly fail you. Please give me some insight.

It can go either way. Don't be intimidated by the amount of questions you received. If it goes more than the 75 questions, it was basically giving you more questions to give them a chance to see if you can make it over the passing criteria. I have seen people max to the 265 and still pass NCLEX. Good luck!

no it does not automatically fail you however i believe they then go by the last 60 responses to determine if you pass or fail. Seems sort of stupid because your first 100 questions are the best answers.
