hello everyone, i have a couple of questions. i was wondering if someone in this chat could help me answer a few questions? i am a nursing student in ohio and we have to do a presentation in one of my classes; we have to answer faq's about nursing and i can not find two of my questions. one is - what do i need to do to continue my education after obtaining my license? and two- what is the benefit of NCLEX review over not having it and the statistics? if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it very much. :D

How far you go with your education after becoming licensed as a nurse is strictly up to you. What area of nursing do you want to venture into? If you already know, investigate what you need to get there.

As for whether NCLEX reviews are beneficial or not, it depends on the individual. I don't know of any statistics on how beneficial they are to take, but if you feel you could use the review by all means take one.

Good luck to you in your career choice! :nurse:

Check out the Ohio Board of Nursing site. It has the ce requirements and qualifications for re-liscensure. There may also be some information about nclex question. Good Luck!:D

Hi Ohio,

I agree, the Ohio Board of nursing site is a good start. It might be difficult to get the answers there, but try that first, and then if not successful I would call and ask.

Another site to access would be the http://www.NCBSN.org, I believe it is. They have much better links than Ohio Board and more specifically, they have statistics you can download into word. Just browse around and good luck!
