Hello everyone,
I had a couple of questions. Its kind of funny its a couple of Americans like myself who are interested in relocating to the UK. After we hear how the paitient ratio to nurse, and cost of living with the nursing salary we double re-think it. I'm in nursing school right now and have always wanted to live in London, or paris for the matter. I was wondering how is the income and cost of living for advanced practices in nursing? With a Masters in nursing in the US you can make from about 70,000-250,000 a year. This is the most common jobs of a Nurse Practitioner and being specialized Nurse Anesthesia. So I was wondering do people in the UK get paid more for people who obtained a Masters degree? Or is it still not a good living income compared to the cost of living? Thanks very much!
