Can I start my application and send transcripts even though I have not taken the TEASV yet? Reason I ask this here is because the school is closed for the holidays and that takes a week away from my application deadline, which is on January 15th.
Also, how long does it take to process TEAS scores and have them sent to the college? I plan on taking the test on the 6th, which leaves me with 9 days to finish the application.
edit--sorry one more question.. Which study material is better? The TEAS manual by ATI or the McGraw Hill 5 exams booklet? Or should I just get both?
anyone? please?

You get your teas scores after you complete the test and I believe the school receives them a day or so after. Make sure you are signed up on a UTMB teas test day I'm not sure if you sign up for another colleges test day how long that would take. Send your transcripts now to nursingcas if you haven't already. They verify your transcripts, mine only took one day to get verified but it could take longer since fall is a busy time to apply. I barely used the ATI study guide and I believe it was sufficient, I got a score over 80. It would have been higher had I not rushed through the last section, the test seemed to take forever to me. Good luck! And happy holidays!

I would go ahead and finish the NCAS application and submit it. You can do that before the transcripts get there. I submitted mine to NCAS on 12/19/13. One set of transcripts is on its way and the other I have to wait till they get back to work on Jan. 2nd and put the request in. Since the TEAS V scores are sent directly to the school just submit after you take the test. We got our scores back right after we took the test and they were on ATI right after the exam. I only used the ATI Study book and scored Advanced level.
