Question about State Test...

Hello everyone. I had heard someone say something about after you complete your 1st year of school as an RN you can sit for the LPN test, is this up to the school, your state, your grades?? Thanks!!!!

After your first full year of clinicals, which means after first year in a two year program and after your third year in a four year program. But this also depends if your state permits it, not all do. It is up to your state................

But unless you were working and it was going to make a big difference in your salary, it really isn't worth it. Most nurse tech jobs now pay almost the same as an LPN, and you do not have to sit for an exam..........

Good luck............. :balloons:
