I have already taken the nclex once and i received 1 above passing standard and the rest were near passing standard except for one below passing standard and that was on the mother baby portion . I read that someone put that in order to pass the nclex you have to have passing standards on all the categories. how true is this?
oh yeah and i suck at mother baby , so I know i will not do good on that.

You must be above passing standards in all areas assessed. You won't necessarily be tested on all areas of nursing just a statistically significant portion. I don't think I had any OB questions but mostly geriatric, adult med-surg, pedi, nutrition, psych, well care/health promotion, pharmacology.

You need to be above passing standards in all areas in order to pass the nclex. Focus more on your weaker areas read the content in those parts and do the questions. Then do questions in other areas you are strong in.
