Question about a college..

Hello,

Straight to the point. I hear of lots of people taking classes online, recently I just got a certification in geronotology(study of elderly). I did complete that, but it's mostly just "stupid". I am thinking of maybe taking some classes online, or getting a degree online, in something totally unrelated to my nursing classes. I have heard of Phoenix University online, it seems to be the biggest, and most known. Is it legit? I mean do most colleges accept their classes/credit hours? Has anyone actually got a bachelors degree from them? Does the degree it's self specially specify it was achieved ONLINE. Basically, this is an example. If I got a bachelors degree online from Phoenix Online in Nursing, would it be accepted at hospitals just like one from say Ohio State University where I attended classes on campus. Are the degrees from them as good as the ones earned from someone taking the same classes, getting the same degree from a college doing it on campus?

UofPhx is regionally accredited, which meets the academic requirements, and CCNE accredited, which meets the nursing requirements. Beyond some personal bias by an evaluator, there's no legitimate reason for the degree not to be accepted.
