PSB exam...

Did anyone take this and have any advice? Anyone planning to take it? I will be taking it next month and I ordered several books to help me study (which haven't arrived yet.) I've heard the science portion is really difficult, so I'm nervous.

For anyone who has taken it, how was the science part divided? Like how much of it was chemistry, how much was anatomy, how much was general, etc.?

If you are talking PSB NAT, I found it fairly simple. I had not had biological sciences since JHS (in the mid 70's)...so I took my pre-reqs first. I reviewed the Kaplan NS Entrance Exam book and found it a bit helpful.

Good luck.

I'm not sure what the exact test is called, but I've heard from people who have taken it that it involves physics too, which is scary to me since I never took any Physics at all :uhoh21:

Yes, there is physics on there. This was simpler for me because I have an engineering degree so ....lots of physics. It isn't tough physics though.....HS level really and you should be able to get the proper background from the study guides.

Thank you, that is reassuring :)

Out of curiosity, what made you switch from engineering to nursing? I'm just curious as I have lots of both in my family :)
