Program Acceptance???

Published

I just got accepted into the Nursing Program at Cal State Long Beach as well as the Nursing Program at Cal State Los Angeles. I was wondering if accept the spot at either of those schools, will it affect my chances of getting accepted into the Nursing Program at Cal State San Bernardino? I will be living closer to San Bernardino and that is why it is my first choice. Does anyone have any experience with this???

Hey there and congrats for getting into CSULA and CSULB!

If I were you, I would take CSULBs offer because their program has the trimester program that gets your BSN in few years than CSULA. And honestly, their program is a really great one. Great teachers and clinicals from what I have heard.

I know your top choice is CSUSB but JUST IN CASE you do not get into there, you need to have a back up.

So what I would do if I were you would be to take the CSULB offer, but you need to let CSULA know that you are not attending their program so others (i.e. me and others) have a shot at getting in. Like ASAP lol

Anyway, whatever you decide on, you really need to let one of the above programs know you are not attending. It is very stressful for people that are alternates that have to wait.

You see what I am saying?

Again, congrats on both acceptances....and do not forget (and I will over emphasize this) to let the programs know you are not attending.

When we hear from CSUSB (I applied there as well) in July. Once you receive CSUSB acceptance (which you will) then let your 'back-up' program know that you are not attending so that an alternate can take your place!

good luck and again congrats!

****choosing to attend one program until you wait to hear from another is highly encouraged. you have to keep all doors open until you hear from your top choice. CSUSB will not know nor care if you get accepted anywhere else. Once you get your CSUSB acceptance then your good to go!
