My overall GPA is a 3.86 & my Science GPA is a 3.4 .

Got accepted to the Carrollton campus last month! Congratulations to everyone who got accepted!

For clinical courses, such as NURS 3301, it says: Simulation Dates will vary as assigned: Thursday & Friday, Clinical Dates will vary as assigned: Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Does anyone know when these days are assigned and how they do it? Are you assigned specific days for the whole semester or do they vary each week? Is the entire class assigned days together or do they divide up and assign by name or something?

Does anyone know anything about a "writing session"? I know that it has been done in the past for admittance to the BSN program, but have they since gotten rid of it??

I applied for the UWG Nursing program 2017 this past December. I made an 82.6 on the HESI, not the best but I didn't study as much as I should have, and I have a 3.84 GPA. My advisor said that the HESI does not hold as much weight as GPA because the program has not been using that particular test for very long. She said typically it is good to aim for at least an 80 on the HESI & 3.4 GPA. I will also receive the 15 Credit hour bonus. My advisor also said that you really only need the 30 credit hour bonus if your GPA is under a 3.4. I feel pretty good about my chances of getting in. I have heard that not as many people have been applying recently as they have in the past, not sure if that is true though! Also, does anyone know the exact date that Summer courses will begin? They have the days & times posted of the courses, but not the date which they start.
