  1. Hi everyone, I'm in my first semester of nursing, I have A- to B+ in all of my classes and doing well in clinical. However, today I took the Kaplan Integrated Test for Funds and Health Assesment which is 10% of our grade for both classes. I honestly did not study for it because I did not know what to expect. I ended up getting a 52 and 50 scoring in the 8th and 4th percentile. I cried my eyes out. I feel terrible about myself and questioning if I'm wasting my time and money in nursing. I love nursing and have a passion for it. How similar are the Kaplan questions to NCLEX? If anyone has tips on what I can do to better on the tests next semester please let me know.
  2. Thank you for the comment and yes I understand that they are both private schools and can be expensive but they are much cheaper than my previous school. Additionally both of the schools are close to home so I would not be paying extra for room and board and will be commuting.
  3. Hello all! I was recently a student at Sacred Heart University nursing program but decided to take a leave of absence to look at other schools that are financially cheaper. I am back home on long island and am basically considering two schools. Does anybody have any information on Adelphi or LIU Post nursing program that they would like to share. For example, how hard is the program, how many students usually fail, did they like the teachers, were the teachers helpful...ect.. all the fun stuff. I do realize that every nursing program is going to be difficult but I don't want to go to a program where that the program is out to fail us. Thanks guys :)
