Hi Guys, starting this thread as I am planning to apply to Linfield for spring 2018 admission. I was wondering if anyone else is planning to apply and what your educational background is. I applied to OHSU accelerated bachelors program and was waitlisted and still have not heard of any movement on the list. I am wondering how competitive Linfield is- assuming just as competitive as any other nursing program in the area.

Hi guys, There probably has not been any movement but has anyone heard of movements on the wait list at all?

For those still on the wait list, this is what admissions told me today "The Fall cohort is currently full and the Summer cohort has two offers out. Even if we have both cohorts full applicants can decide to withdraw later. However, if this were to happen we would contact the next student on the list." Not sure of the chances of the rest of us getting a spot

Fingers crossed that maybe they haven't gotten to fall openings yet.. hoping we both get a spot!

I put a preference for fall start on my app, but at this point I would accept any spot offered haha! What about you @bobbynurse?

Yesterday I was told by admissions that they would be making their first movements off of the wait list at the end of this week..

I am on the wait list as highly likely for Portland but was wondering if anyone one the wait list for Ashland has hear of any movements for the list?

Yes I hope us on the highly likely list hear soon! OHSU is the only place I have applied.. hoping to still get a spot.

Thanks for that digging! I emailed asking if they could give details about how many people are listed in each category of the wait list and they said that they could not give out that information. They also said that historically they have admitted multiple people off of the wait list and that the will make the first moves off the wait list the first week of April as that is the deadline for initial admits to respond.

Oregon2424, Portland admissions said that we would hear this week but I also got another email clarifying that we would hear something today or tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

I emailed admissions this morning and they said that decisions will be sent out this week! Good luck everyone!
