  1. Congratulations to all who got accepted! I am accepted as well, can't wait to meet you all!
  2. Thank you for the information @kzcroft !! Congratulations!!!!!!!
  3. Hey Kzcroft! Did you also receive an e-mail or just the packet?
  4. I'm glad I helped! I wish you the best, just stay positive!!
  5. Hi, I don't think my other post went through. I want to reassure you that it is okay to feel nervous. I am a walking anxiety, and I am legit excited, scared, nervous--all of the above. Have you been to the nursing information session? I highly doubt that it will be your typical interview questions, but do prepare a solid answer for "Why Nursing?" and "Why CUI?" From what I have gathered, you will be interviewing with three other applicants, four total. It's safe to assume that you will also be evaluated based on group interactions. I suggest come in professional attire, although the letter did not specify. Lastly, even if you aren't expecting typical interview questions, prepare for it anyway--especially scenario based questions. Ultimately, "Show Don't Tell." I hope that helps!
  6. My name is Jessica, but you can call me Jess for short! See you then!
  7. @Jd2018 May I ask for your email? I want to ask you a few things about Concordia!

  9. Hey @nurse.lexi! Nice! There's the four of us for Friday 13th at 7:30A-@kzcroft, @lindsaygee, me and you! I'll put out an offer to carpool if you're down. I believe I'm leaving SD at 5:30-5:45A, better safe than sorry! I'm coming from Rancho Penasquitos
  10. @HelloEllo Of course! Because even I'm trying NOT to get frustrated, being on the waitlist kind of sucks, but I have no choice rather than to wait. HAHA have a great weekend as well(:
  11. @HelloEllo Hey! It's ok, we understand the frustration, but try to wait it out a little bit longer. You'll never know what happens. From what I know, there are two rounds of acceptances. The first round consisted of 40 candidates. The second round includes the people on the waitlist, I wasn't told how many people but there is a list. In this case, if the the first round of acceptances did not reach the program's capacity, admissions will go ahead with the second round of reviews. It's safe to assume that MAYBE admissions will proceed to update everyone else portal by then. I called Agasia yesterday and was told that accepted applicants have until the 16th of July to put in a deposit. For me, that's a long wait, but I am staying hopeful that I get accepted. So don't lose hope, there are candidates who applied to several programs besides MSMU! I hope that provides you a little sense of relief!

  13. Hey @mlb1711! YAY! I wasn't planning on taking it. I was lurking on older threads, it seems as though JHU used to require the GRE. I guess lucky for us!
  14. Hey Everyone, I started my application for JHU's Spring 2019, but passed the July 1st deadline. Therefore, I decided to just go ahead and submit once the next application cycle opens on the 15th of August--it is for Summer 2019 and Fall 2019 cohort! Is anyone taking the GRE?
  15. @Lindsaygee, the person I spoke with who graduated from Concordia's ABSN program told me to prepare and just be myself. I'm with you though, I'm nervous and I heard you can't really prepare for it!!! I'm assuming we go in a professional attire? There's also a short essay portion, 45 minutes timed. When I received the letter, I was like WOW it's legitimately five hours long!
  16. Hey @KMD51, July 1st was the priority deadline! I'm sure you can still submit!
  17. Hey girl @Lindsaygee, congrats! See you then!!
  18. Hey @KZCroft! YAY!! I'll be coming from San Diego, where will you be coming from? I look forward to meeting you! I'm thinking about taking a passport picture for my 2X2. I don't think a selfie would be appropriate, eh? HAHA
  19. Hey @Cg2961, Be sure to call nursing admission for clarification or e-mail Agasia! I deferred my application from Summer 2018 to Fall 2018, and I, too, had to send a reactivation form and an updated personal statement. The application I had for S18 still stated "under review" on my portal;however, for F18 it was already evaluated. That is how I found out I was on the waitlist.
  20. Aw you're very kind! Thank you!! Congratulations!!
  21. I also received an invite this morning for the 13th of July, 7:30A-12:30P. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time! I hope to see / meet whoever goes on Friday!
  22. I just want to say congratulations to everyone who got accepted!! I'm incredibly happy for you all because I understand how competitive it is to apply for Nursing School. And to those who haven't heard yet--do not lose hope and stay optimistic! On my side, I've never felt so stressed and confused. I interpreted my letter as waitlisted because I was neither denied or admitted; however, when I hit the 'reply to offer,' I was asked to enter my name as offer of admission. Then eventually was greeted with the "congratulations and welcome!" Ultimately, I am hoping for the best. I will call them for clarification on Thursday!
  23. @Nrsedsg HAHA yes me too! I'm going crazy. Mail, E-Mail, Portal, AllNurses non-stop >. @Robe639 Thank you for the update! I saw you posted on the other forum as well, glad to see you applied there too!! Mad anxiety from June-August waiting for invites and decisions. HAHA I hope all is well everyone!
  24. Anyone got an interview invite yet?
  25. I've been checking my application portal, and it says it's still "under review."
