  2. Hello! I am a current student at a different university in Arizona. I am starting my second semester of sophomore year. I went through a few hardships making a very rocky start to my college career. I knew I always wanted to go into the medical field but wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to do till now. Nursing is something I would love to pursue. Now my dreams feel like a far reach because of my rocky start in college I did not get amazing grades. I have a few C's for my AUS prequisites. I am retaking anatomy and physiology 201 for a better grade this semester and plan on getting A's in all of my other prequistes. I am trying to save as much money as I can since I have to pay college on my own and federal aid doesn't cover it all. Does anyone know how AUS views retaking courses? What can somone someone like I do to save my poor GPA with a C in chem 151 and 152 and a C in Anatomy and physiology. Also I was thinking if it was possible to enter the CEP program and gendale community college while i attempted to get my GPA higher and apply to asu nursing program. My goal is to get into either program. Should I get all my prerequisites and corequirments done for the CEP program and hope to be accepted into asu concurrent program with the community college while meanwhile I attend asu take the left over courses and retake the courses I have to take to boost my gpa for a chance getting into the traditional program. I am current attending the university of arizona and I spoke to the advisor there and basically was told I wouldn't get in with these grades on mine. I'm nervous and feel discourage because I found something that I would be happy to do for the rest of my life but I faced a lot of hardships starting my college career that my grades were not where they should have been. I know all university nursing programs are very competitive but with my lower than average GPA is there a bsn program that I may have a higher chance getting into ? That will not drown me in debt . Please and thank you!
