  1. Me too!! I'll see you there!! í ½í¸
  2. I called the CWL when I couldn't find it. She took my name and number and the person who makes the class will call me when it gets scheduled.
  3. I also did the worksheet with ease but I decided I am going to take the class just to be prepared. It can't hurt! And it's only one day..
  4. From what I have been told from previous students, we can expect to be in class with clinicals 4-5 days a week roughly 8-4. My friend said her times differed each semester. Her first semester she had to be there at 8 but 10 for the next three semesters. She said it just depends on who will be instructing and how many instructors the program will have for schedules. I too wish we knew something more concrete before the semester starts so I can figure out childcare for my 3 year old.
  5. I'm not too sure myself. Just in CWL website it states handbooks are $15 extra and can be picked up in the CWL office. This'll be my first CPR class I'm not sure if the book is needed or not...
  6. Heather does the WNJ $50 one include the handbook or is that extra like CWL is?
  7. Yes! So glad that class is over! I'm Amber Engelke, I sat in the very back! Congratulations!! As a fellow mom I know how hard we worked for this!!
  8. Did we have stats together?! I think I know youuuuu! Haha
  9. I had 27! I'm excited for orientation!!
  10. Chrissy, They are still sending letters out so don't worry just yet! and they said they will notify if accepted/declined/waitlisted so eventually everyone should get an email of something
  11. Thank yall! yes at 9:30 this morning!!! Eeeeek! Praying for yall too!!
  12. That's a great score! I'm sure you will be finel! :)
  13. [sOUNDCLOUD][/sOUNDCLOUD]Hi there! I just figured my points on my own after filling out the point sheet that was included in the application. The only time I have heard of the nursing program sending out point info is on denial or waitlist letters to give a reason why they weren't accepted immediately. How many points did you calculate for yourself?
  14. I'm checking frequently too! I'm praying daily for all of us!!!! Last year my friend said they found out on the 7th. My anxiety is so high I can't stand it lol. I just started Summer classes for my BSN so at least its keeping me busy!
  15. Hey guys I was hoping yall could clarify something for me. I had a meeting with one of the directors Mrs. Hoover right before the spring semester started but I cant remember what she said so I thought I'd ask yall if yall know... About immunizations, do all of them have to be completed at time of application deadline or do we have before orientation? I know for sure the TB and CPR cert doesn't have to be done until orientation but I can't remember about the other general immunizations. I went in on the Wednesday right before that last day transcripts were due, to get my last MMR and Combo Hep A & B shots but they were out of the MMR and she said they would be out for a couple of weeks, so I just finished the Combo and turned that updated record in too.. Anyone know??
  16. yes in the application it also states they will notify us by the email we wrote on the application.
  17. I turned in my final shot record and they just told me that they're waiting until final transcripts are due (May 25) to make final decisions but still said by the 2nd week of June we should all know.
  18. Hey guys I received my blue card in the mail today! Oh happy day!! One step closer!
  19. Yes, 6 weeks from final transcripts due. I was told beginning/mid/June.
  20. Chrissyb513, 28 is the max but yes I am happy I live in the area for sure!! She said usually down to 24 can feel confident and 23-21 are usually waitlist. She did mention they have alot more applicants in the Fall instead of the Spring so we have to take that into consideration as well! She was super nice!!!!
  21. This is so exciting princesshess! I just submitted my application via email! Eeeek! I met with Lori last week for the first time to ask last minute questions and she asked me how many points I was applying with, I told her 27 and she said I should feel pretty confident to be accepted! Hope that helps you ease a little!
  22. Hi 👋🏻 I'm 28! I finished my prereqs last semester and will be turning in my application for the ADN program this month to start in the Fall. (27/28 points woo-hoo!!) I am married and have two small children, 6 & 2. I've always wanted to help people and make a difference in the world so I'm excited about my career choice. When I graduate I'll be 30 and my youngest will start elementary school so I'll be ready to go to work! Will working, I plan on pursuing my BSN and MSN so I've got a lot of work ahead of me!
  23. Thank you everyone for your input! I look forward to going to both Microsoft and Apple stores and playing around with server all different models to see what works best for me! At this time I am leaning toward Microsoft since I am already so familiar with it
  24. Hello!! I'm looking forward to starting nursing school this Fall and have worked hard to be awarded a technology grant from the Choctaw Nation! But my question is, what should I get? Are you a Surface Pro 4 fan or an ipad fan? I've been more interested in the Surface but I want to hear from you!! What do you like and dislike about your tablet/laptop??
