  1. Getting into Nursing School

    Hello everybody! This is my first time on allnurses and I'm wondering if anyone has advice on nursing schools in the southwest which have reasonable acceptance rates. I'm looking at all southern states. I am a freshman and currently have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 after my first semester. I'm starting to worry that I won't be able to get into any schools with this GPA, I plan to retake Chemistry which I only received a C+ in so hopefully that will help to raise it. I am planning on applying to many schools after I achieve the rest of my prerequisites. Any nursing school suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
