  1. Hey Everyone! Looking for some positive thoughts here. I took my NCLEX RN and it stopped at 96. My heart literally skipped a beat as the screen switched and told me my test was over. I had around 20 SATAs, no math, a couple ECGs and a bunch of priority questions. I am a little nervous because a bunch of my friends passed at 75 with the majority of SATA's which from what I know is suppose to be a good thing. My nerves and anxiety are through the roof. I do not want to do the pearson vue trick because I know some people from the graduating class before me did it, got the good pop up and end up failing. I know I will be even more upset if that happens which is why I am steering clear of that. I know it doesn't matter how many questions are there, but I cant help but think why it turned off 96. I can only think that If i was doing bad I would get more questions to make up for my poor score. Or maybe I did good and thats why it shut off before 100. I will keep everyone in the loop about my final "unofficial" results. All prayers and good thoughts welcome!
  2. Hello All-- I just graduated in May 2017 w/ a BSN and sent in my registration and transcript to Pearson Vue. What I did not do was send in my registration to the state until 7/5 because I was unaware it did not process through the first time... basically freaking right now! I've been calling CT BON and asking the status on my application and they said they're not even through reviewing 5/18.. again freaking out! I had planned to take my NCLEX the last week and June, before the fourth of July, and it does not look like that is going to be the case. How long did it take other people to get their ATT from CT? Does anyone have an hope stories for me or any way that you guys have tried to speed up this process?? Some people saying calling everyday and basically annoying them is the way to go, but any suggestion is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
  3. Hello! I am a soon to be graduate nurse in May 2016 and I have found a liking in Palliative Care. A lot of the patients I take care of in clinical are on CMO and I really enjoy helping them as much as I possibly can in their last hours. I was wondering if anyone has any information on Palliative Care nursing. Can you strictly be a palliative care nurse or do you have to become a NP then specialize in Palliative/hospice care? Any more information regarding this is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
